This Ultra-cleansing formulation will remove impurities from deep within the pores while maintaining optimum hydration balance. With Apple extract, Honey Myrtle, Australian Kakadu Plum and Canadian Willowherb to clear and revitalise the skin.

*This natural gel cleanser can also be used by "zoning" technique. If you have combination skin, or get breakouts on your chin only, you can use this on those areas, but continue to use Recovery face Cleansing Creme on the rest of your face.

Key Actives

Australian Lemon Myrtle: Acts as a natural anti-bacterial, that also assists in the balancing and removal of excess sebum.

Canadian Willowherb: Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant. Williowherb also has an antibacterial action that is effective for addressing blemishes. Acne occurs when hair follicles become clogged with dead cells and sebum. Bacteria called “Propionibacterium Acnes” feed on the dead cells and sebum, which causes an inflammatory response that triggers the pistules and cysts we see in acne. Willowherb is able to destroy Propionibacterium Acnes and reduce the number of acne lesions. It does this without damaging the skin.

Apple: is also rich in natural Alpha-Hydroxy acids (AHA’s) that help to gently exfoliate your skin and break up the proteins that hold skin cells, making them great for dull or uneven complexions.

How to Use

Massage 1 pump in small circles all over the face. Ue a gentle face brush for best results. Remove with a warm wet face cloth and repeat.

My favourite cleanser
I live in the UK but I discovered Ikou around two years ago whilst on holiday in Byron Bay. I have fallen in love with the fantastic quality of the skincare and I have used it as my daily routine ever since. I used to get a lot of small spots on my face even though I was in my late 20s and this cleanser has really helped to completely clear them.
