Is IKOU made in Australia?
Yes, IKOU is made in Australia!
We are based in the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains, proudly making our products in this beautiful area since 2007.
Are all IKOU products vegan?
As the Founders of IKOU, Naomi and Paul are both vegan, IKOU is a 100% vegan company too.
Is IKOU cruelty-free?
Yes, IKOU is a genuinely “cruelty-free” company.
As a 100% vegan company not only do we not test on animals, but we also do not use any ingredients derived from animals.
IKOU has never, and never will test on animals, and despite high demand, we refuse to sell into countries like China where import animal testing is mandatory.
IKOU, Australian-made skincare and all our ranges are truly cruelty-free.
Are all IKOU products safe in pregnancy and while breastfeeding?
Most of our range is considered suitable; however, there are a few products we do not recommend during pregnancy:
- Muscle Relax Range (Bath Salts, Aromatherapy Rolette, Massage & Body Oil)
- Australian Rainforest Essential Oil (Due to the Kunzea ingredient being too stimulating)
- Revitalising Shampoo
All other products, including our De-Stress blend and Pure Results Skincare, are generally safe to enjoy. De-Stress is a long-time favourite among pregnant customers which is a calming blend of lavender, geranium, lemon, clementine and patchouli that is safe on the skin in our body products and beautiful as a room fragrance. Our Home Fragrance range is also a lovely option during pregnancy, made with 100% natural wax and clean-burning, paraffin-free formulas.That said, every pregnancy is unique, and comfort levels can vary.We always recommend checking with your healthcare practitioner to ensure these suggestions align with your personal needs.
Are IKOU products 100% palm-oil free?
IKOU is proudly 100% PALM OIL-FREE.
We DO NOT use any palm oil or palm derived ingredients in any of our products.

Where's my order?
You will have received a tracking number via email when we sent your order. This will include a link to track the progress of your order. If you didn’t receive this, check your junk. Generally we dispatch within 24 hours on business days, and our courier takes between 1-3 days to deliver after this.
Where's my order? During a sale period.
Due to a high volume in orders during our sale periods processing times are longer than usual. We aim to have your orders processed within a 7 day period of ordering.

How quickly can you deliver?
Orders placed Monday - Friday will dispatch within 24 hours and our courier takes between 1-3 days to deliver to all areas of Australia after this. we don't fulfil orders on public holidays, orders will be shipped the next business day.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes we do! We use Australia Post, and the cost will calculate after you enter the address on your chosen order. Freight costs are for delivery only, and do not include local taxes and duties. These will vary from country to country and are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please check with the appropriate local authority to determine if any taxes or duties apply before placing your order.
Please note: We cannot ship certain items overseas due to being dangerous goods for international shipping. These include essential oils and diffuser reeds, which will be noted on the product page you order from.
