It’s easy! Unlike liquid foundation, the minerals don’t act like a mask. They merge and balance with your skin reflecting light and balancing uneven tones. Here’s how to know the right shade for you:
#1: FAIR- You have a very pale, lily white skin tone.
#2: MID-TONE LIGHT- You have pale skin, with a very slight touch of rosiness.
#3: MID-TONE RADIANT- You have mid toned skin that has a little warmth to it but not a dark tan. This colour will also balance redness to create an even radiant healthy tone. *OUR MOST POPULAR CHOICE*
#4 TAN- You are tanned or have a naturally darker tone.
*TIP: Make sure you get a brush to apply, and also an Optimum Hydration Face Mist to give your makeup a dewy glow.

Is iKOU makeup cruelty-free?
Yes, and genuinely so. None of iKOU’s formulations are tested on animals anywhere in the world. iKOU is also all vegan.
Is your mica ethically sourced?
iKOU uses entrusted, certified sources of mica that guarantee no child-labour of anyone under the age of 18 is used. iKOU does not source mica from India where children are commonly used as workers in mines.
Is iKOU mineral makeup vegan?
Yes- our makeup and ALL our ranges are 100% vegan.
