  • DESCRIPTION

    The perfect choice if you experience break-outs or have oily/ combination skin.

    This Ultra Gel Face Cleanser formulation will remove impurities from deep within the pores while maintaining optimum hydration balance. With apple extract, honey myrtle, Australian Kakadu plum and canadian willowherb to clear and revitalise the skin.

    *This natural gel cleanser can also be used with "zoning" technique. If you have combination skin, or get breakouts on your chin only, you can use this on those areas, but continue to use Recovery Face Cleansing Creme on the rest of your face.

  • KEY ACTIVES

    Australian Lemon Myrtle: Acts as a natural anti-bacterial, that also assists in the balancing and removal of excess sebum.

    Canadian Willowherb: Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant. Williowherb also has an antibacterial action that is effective for addressing blemishes. Acne occurs when hair follicles become clogged with dead cells and sebum. Bacteria called “Propionibacterium Acnes” feed on the dead cells and sebum, which causes an inflammatory response that triggers the pistules and cysts we see in acne. Willowherb is able to destroy Propionibacterium Acnes and reduce the number of acne lesions. It does this without damaging the skin.

    Apple is also rich in natural Alpha-Hydroxy acids (AHA’s) that help to gently exfoliate your skin and break up the proteins that hold skin cells, making them great for dull or uneven complexions.

Amazing cleanse

This is one of the first Ikou products I purchased for my teenage daughter and I. We've been using it daily for about 4 years now and it never fails to give a cleanse that makes my skin feel soft, refreshed and renewed. I have sensitive skin and this caters for that. My daughter has tried using other products within that time but always, always comes back to Ikou because of the break outs she has with other products. She is now nearly 18 and has gorgeous skin that is regularly complimented. A huge part of that I attribute to the Ikou products she has been using over the years. Totally recommend it.

Perfect cleanser to wash off daily makeup!

I love combining both of Ikou's cleansers, and this one is perfect for end of day to wash off my makeup and leave my skin feeling fresh and clean. Skin is still moisturised and soft and ready for the rest of my routine! Great scent also.

So fresh and so clean

I’d been using the recovery creme cleanser for a couple of years and loved it. Then I was recommended to give this one a try and my goodness it is good! The honey myrtle smells so incredibly fresh and my skin always feels light and reinvigorated after use. I now alternate between the two cleansers, sometimes using the zone method as suggested, or this one in the morning and the creme at night.
