IKOU Organic Salt scrub contains Flossy Salt which is unrefined refined salt. It is harvested from Australian coastal seawater through natural solar evaporation, retaining essential minerals. Since Flossy Salt is unrefined, it can occasionally have small black specks which are mineral inclusions from the sea. Black specks are a safe and natural part of the unrefined sea salt and are not a sign of contamination.
